Blackrock 3 at the Firehouse
What can IT professionals learn from the Fire Service about disaster response? What does it take to assemble and lead an incident response team after a hurricane, and how is that related to running a data center in Los Angeles? How do you manage time and resources to resolve a critical incident--IT or otherwise--as quickly as possible?
Blackrock 3 Partner Rob Schnepp hosts coffee table conversations with experts inside incident response teams from deep inside global IT organizations down to neighborhood fire houses. Whether it’s a widespread service outage, or an extreme weather event wiping communities off the map, these teams run toward disaster. With new episodes every few weeks, tune in to hear tales and examine takeaways from successful incident commanders worldwide. |
